HTC Incredible Root Guide

My original “HTC Incredible Root Guide” was officially retired on 7/15/2010 when the unrevoked team released unrevoked 3.0 and 3.1. Once this was released there was no longer any need to beat the microSD race condition… everything was automated at this point.

There is still some helpful information in the original post, but the actual root methods should no longer be used.
