X, WiFi Issues???
July 21st, 2010It has only been a few weeks and already the Droid X is having a slew of problems. The latest is that the X has a hard time connecting to WiFi and once connected, crappy throughput to say the least. This comes on the heels of Verizon reporting that some Droid X owners are going to well, have horrible display issues. Yes, Verizon actually admitted to some of the devices having defective screens. This is bad news for anyone who looked forward to watching HD on the device, bummer. Let us not forget the biggest pain in the ass for anyone on this website. E-Fuse and the locked boot loader, those two things alone will keep you from hacking your phone for a very long time. Do you guys detect a little bit of excitement in the article? Glade I am an Incredible owner. Hit the link below for the full article.
New OTA… 720p Recording?… New Boot Screen?
July 2nd, 2010From the looks of the picture, we might be getting a big OTA update that enables a few new features. Can anyone say cheese! Looks like us lucky incredible owners might be getting an update that enables 720p HD recording on our devices as well as a mobile hotspot feature.
Froyo with Sense
July 2nd, 2010
A friend of ours from over at XDA, Sky Raider, has successfully ported Froyo from the EVO over to the Incredible. This build comes with a plethora of goodies, including full 2.2 Market access and Sense UI. However, a few things are still a WIP and are not working. The Camera and true GPS are the two big ones that are named as well as a few small others. Head on over to the link below to grab your copy, remember to thank Sky Raider for all his hard work.
Thanks, Anthony Kashmanian
